Tourism & travel films
People choose where to go from what they see. We film destinations, resorts and heritage sites from the air, so the landscape, the scale and the light come across the way they do in person.
Making places worth the trip
A travel film works when it makes the viewer want to be there. From the air you can show what a ground camera can't: how a resort sits in the forest, the curve of a coastline, a fort on a hilltop at sunrise, the route of a trek.
- Resorts and hotels: property films, room-to-view reveals and seasonal campaigns
- Tourism boards and destinations: region promos, festival coverage and heritage films
- Travel creators and brands: trips, experiences and adventure sports
- Hospitality openings: launch films combining aerials with indoor fly-throughs
For remote locations we pack light, with the Mavic 4 Pro, which fits in a backpack and has the telephoto cameras that make mountains and coastlines look their best. For campaign hero shots, we bring the Inspire 3.
Planning around light and weather
- Golden hoursLandscapes look best in the first and last hour of light. We plan the schedule around sunrise and sunset at each location.
- Season and weatherMonsoon, haze and wind all affect flying and the look of the footage. We'll advise on the best window for your destination.
- Protected sitesHeritage monuments, forests and coastal zones often have extra rules. We find out early what each one needs.
- DeliverablesLandscape and vertical versions, plus stills from the same flights for print and social.
Travel filming questions
Can you fly over monuments and heritage sites?
Many protected monuments and their surroundings restrict or prohibit drones without special permission. We check each site and tell you what's possible before the shoot.
Do you also take aerial photographs?
Yes. The Mavic 4 Pro's main camera takes 100MP stills, so you can use the same flights for brochures, websites and social posts.
Can you travel to remote locations?
Yes. We regularly shoot outside the cities, across India and in Qatar, and we plan travel, power and charging for remote shoots.
Planning a shoot?
Tell us where, when and what you want to capture, and we'll come back with the right crew, drones and a clear list of the permissions you'll need.
