Indoor FPV fly-throughs
One continuous shot that enters through the front door, glides through the lobby, up the stairs and out onto the terrace. Indoor FPV turns a building into a story, for hotels, offices, factories, malls and live events.
The right drone for indoors
Indoors we fly cinewhoops: small FPV drones with guards around the propellers, built to fly through doorways and between people. They're light, so they're far less risky than an outdoor drone, and steady enough to carry a stabilised action camera for smooth, broadcast-quality footage.
Popular indoor shoots
- Hotels and resorts: lobby to room to pool in one move
- Corporate offices and campuses for culture and hiring films
- Factories and warehouses showing a production line end to end
- Malls, showrooms and restaurants for launches and ads
- Concerts, weddings and live events, flying over the stage and through the crowd
- Real estate: show flats, villas and clubhouses
How we plan a fly-through
- RouteWe walk the space with you and agree the path: where it starts, which rooms it passes, where it ends.
- Set dressingLights on, doors open, people placed. A one-take shot shows everything, so the space has to be ready.
- RehearsalSlow practice runs before the real takes, to time the movement and check clearances.
- TakesSeveral full runs, reviewed on the spot. The best one is delivered stabilised and ready to grade.
Indoor filming questions
Is it safe to fly a drone inside with people around?
Cinewhoops are designed for it: small, light and fully guarded. We still plan the route around people, brief everyone on set and keep a spotter with the pilot.
Do indoor shoots need drone permission?
Flying inside a closed building is generally treated differently from outdoor airspace, but you'll still need the property owner's permission. If the shot exits the building, the outdoor part follows normal airspace rules. We check this for every job.
How long is a typical indoor fly-through?
Most run between 30 seconds and two minutes on screen. Longer routes are possible, but battery life and the number of rooms set the practical limit. We'll plan around your edit.
