Aerial unit for films & series

From an establishing shot of a city at dawn to an FPV run through a fight sequence, we work as the aerial unit for feature films, OTT series, documentaries and music videos, in Hindi and regional cinema.

Built for film sets

A film set runs on a call sheet, a DOP's vision and a schedule that can't slip. An aerial unit has to fit into that: be ready when the AD calls the shot, take direction like any other camera department and not hold up a hundred people while a drone is fixed.

That's how we work. We break down the aerial shots in pre-production, flag anything that needs permissions or a recce, and arrive on set with backup aircraft and spare parts. We've flown for commercials, documentaries, wildlife films, music videos and feature films.

One unit, three tools

  • Inspire 3 for controlled cinema moves, establishing shots and anything that has to intercut with your A-camera
  • Cinematic FPV for action, song sequences and moves through tight spaces
  • Cinelifter when an action shot needs FPV movement on a Blackmagic 6K or RED Komodo cinema camera

From script to DI

  1. Script breakdownWe go through the aerial scenes with the director and DOP and suggest the right drone for each.
  2. Recce and permissionsWe check each location's airspace, tell your production team which approvals to get and recce difficult locations before the shoot.
  3. On the call sheetPilot, camera operator and technician, scheduled with the rest of the unit and briefed with the stunt and safety teams.
  4. Hand-off to postRAW footage with notes for the DIT and colourist, at the project's frame rate and resolution.

Production questions

Do you shoot in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai?

Yes. We travel to film locations across India and work in Qatar too. Outstation crew travel and stay are part of the quote.

Can you do night shoots?

Yes, where the location's approvals allow night flying. The Inspire 3's full-frame camera with dual native ISO handles low light well. Tell us about night scenes early, as they need extra planning.

Do you shoot documentaries and wildlife films?

Yes. For wildlife we plan flights to keep noise and disturbance to animals to a minimum, and we follow forest-department rules where they apply.

Planning a shoot?

Tell us where, when and what you want to capture, and we'll come back with the right crew, drones and a clear list of the permissions you'll need.
