FPV drone filming

FPV drones fly where a camera crane, a gimbal or a regular drone can't: through doorways, under bridges, around a car at speed, down a cliff face. Our FPV pilots fly them for commercials, films, music videos and events, in Bangalore and across India.

What FPV does best

FPV videography is its own craft. An FPV (first-person view) drone is flown through goggles that show the camera's view live. It's fast, agile and close to the action, which is why it's behind most of the one-take fly-throughs and high-speed chase shots you see in ads and films today.

Shots FPV is built for

  • One-take fly-throughs of venues, homes, factories and stores, entering from outside and moving room to room without a cut.
  • Chase and tracking shots that follow cars, bikes and riders at speed, low to the ground.
  • Dives and reveals: down a building, off a cliff or over a crowd, with movement no other camera can make.
  • Stage and performance shots that weave between performers for music videos and events.

When a cinema drone is the better choice

FPV is about energy and movement. For slow, wide, perfectly steady shots, like a sunrise over a resort or a long tracking shot along a coastline, a cinema drone with a stabilised gimbal usually looks better. We fly both, often on the same shoot, and we'll tell you which one each shot needs. Our article FPV vs cinema drones explains the difference.

Our FPV fleet

We fly GoPro Hero 11, 12 and 13 cameras with ND, CPL and anamorphic filters, recording 4K at 60fps or 5.3K at 30fps. Every take is stabilised and post-processed. A typical FPV flight lasts 3 to 6 minutes, so we plan shots and battery swaps around that. FPV days start from ₹45,000. See drone shoot prices.

How an FPV shoot works

  1. BriefTell us what you're making, the location and the shots you have in mind. Reference videos help.
  2. Plan & permissionsWe map out the flight paths, check the airspace and tell you which approvals the location needs.
  3. RehearseOn the day, we walk and rehearse each path with your team before the cameras roll, so people and props are in the right place.
  4. Fly & deliverWe fly the takes, check them with you on set and deliver the footage in the format your editor needs.

FPV filming questions

Is FPV safe to fly near people?

We plan every flight path, rehearse it and brief everyone on set before we fly. Indoors and around crowds, we use smaller drones built for close-quarters flying. Our operations follow India's drone rules and are insured.

Can FPV footage be stabilised and graded like normal camera footage?

Yes. We shoot in formats that hold up in stabilisation and colour grading, and we'll match your production's frame rate and resolution.

How long does a fly-through take to shoot?

A single continuous fly-through usually takes several rehearsed takes. Most can be finished in a few hours once the location is ready. We'll give you a realistic schedule once we've seen the location.

Do you fly FPV outside Bengaluru?

Yes. We travel for shoots across India and in Qatar.
